Understanding how people learn, interact and process information, as well as understanding the important principles of interface and instructional design allows Symbiosis Creative to communicate and convey ideas simply and effectively.

Principal Designer, Denise Jury, brings to the field of multimedia a diverse background in education and the life sciences.

Denise has a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Zoology from the University of Melbourne, a Diploma in Secondary Education and completed a Master of Multimedia at Monash University in 2003, whilst being granted a scholarship bursary.

In 2004, Denise also formed a boutique medical multimedia company, Clinica Media Pty Ltd and holds the position of Executive Creative Director, working with a team of leading Musculoskeletal and Sports Medicine Practitioners to develop highly specialised educational resources for the medical and healthcare community. Denise also teaches in the Faculty of Art and Design, Undergraduate and Master of Multimedia programs at Monash University.

The seven years experience teaching senior biology and science as well as Denise’s former role as a Senior Education Officer at Melbourne Zoo designing and facilitating curriculum and educational resources, has created a unique and diverse skill base to draw upon in the design and digital environment. These experiences enable Denise to adopt a systematic yet creative approach to developing design solutions.

Symbiosis is the close relationship, which occurs in nature between dissimilar organisms that can affect both members of the partnership in different ways. This metaphor translates into the relationship formed between Symbiosis Creative the designer… and you - the client.
